About Me

I am Ravi Prakash, an experienced engineering professional with over 12 years of expertise in Signal and Telecommunication systems within Indian Railways, currently serving at the Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO).

My career has been dedicated to the design, development, and assurance of mission-critical signalling technologies that enhance the safety, reliability, and efficiency of railway operations. I have played a significant role in the deployment and evaluation of systems such as: 🔹 KAVACH (Automatic Train Protection System) 🔹 IPIS (Integrated Passenger Information System) 🔹 EI (Electronic Interlocking) 🔹 MSDAC (Multi-Section Digital Axle Counters) 🔹 LED Signalling Systems 🔹 Various Next-Generation Signalling Technologies

In addition to system deployment, I have over 5 years of focused experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, ensuring compliance with SIL-4 safety standards and leading EMI/EMC and environmental testing to validate performance under real-world conditions. My technical background includes extensive work in: ✔ Safety-critical design validation ✔ Standards compliance and certification ✔ Reliability engineering and fault diagnostics ✔ System-level integration and testing

Driven by precision, innovation, and safety, I am committed to advancing the Indian Railways’ signalling landscape through robust engineering practices, regulatory alignment, and continuous technological improvement.
